RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet or exceed annual assigned sales goals and objectives in Logistics Services.
• Coordinate/negotiate successfully with operations group on client pricing & services.
• Meet with potential new customers; review their Logistics process, develop customer confidence and make appropriate solutions presentation.
• Account Management by being a key liaison between the customer and logistics operations to resolve service problems and issues.
• Coordinate with department directors to ensure timely solutions to problems and feedback to the customer base.
• Development of business solutions that will ultimately result in deal closures by presenting solutions to meet client needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years successful experience in sales/marketing of transportation and logistics services in a highly competitive business-to-business, solutions sales, with the demonstrated ability to achieve goals and objectives. Product knowledge of Transportation/Logistics in a portfolio solutions strategy. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Windows products including the Internet. Sales experience in freight forwarding, transportation and logistics with a clear understanding of multiple modes and service within the transportation/logistics industry strongly preferred.
